The workshops helped to raise awareness about gender equality in tennis, specifically the importance of promoting and safeguarding women in coaching and officiating roles. Participants were introduced to the issues surrounding gender imbalance and the need for more women in leadership positions in tennis. The workshops provided a platform for empowering women within the tennis community by focusing on skill development, career guidance, and leadership opportunities. Female participants gained confidence in pursuing roles as coaches and officials in tennis. The girls who attended the workshops were given tools and resources to help them navigate their careers in tennis and were encouraged to set goals for personal and professional development.
A key element of the workshops was the introduction of the mentoring program designed to provide female tennis coaches and officials with ongoing support, guidance, and professional growth opportunities. The workshops showcased how the mentoring program would help women in the sport build leadership skills, enhance their careers, and network with other professionals.
Promoting and safeguarding women in tennis, coaching and officiating at the tennis sports clubs’ level. We aim to raise awareness of the benefits of coaching and officiating among women and girls in tennis and to increase the numbers of female coaches and officiators in tennis.
