As part of the “Game, Set, Equality” project, two exciting multiplier sport events were held in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Stip, North Macedonia, bringing together tennis enthusiasts, sports professionals and community members to celebrate and promote gender equality in tennis.
These events, held in September 2024, were designed to share the results of the project, showcase key deliverables, and inspire greater female participation in tennis coaching and officiating. With more than 40 participants from diverse backgrounds, the events provided a unique platform to highlight the importance of promoting women’s roles in tennis and sports in general.

The events were a resounding success in raising awareness of gender equality in tennis, with participants leaving inspired and motivated to contribute to a more inclusive sport. The events reinforced the importance of creating opportunities for women in tennis coaching and officiating and emphasized the need for sports clubs and organizations to implement gender-inclusive practices.
Promoting and safeguarding women in tennis, coaching and officiating at the tennis sports clubs’ level. We aim to raise awareness of the benefits of coaching and officiating among women and girls in tennis and to increase the numbers of female coaches and officiators in tennis.
